Annie Bickerton

Annie Bickerton works with foundations and nonprofits tobuild and strengthen
projects and programs that advance economic justice, build power, and sustain communities.

 

 Annie has helped build multiple organizations from the ground up, including an Echoing Green-awarded social enterprise, a 1,000-person mutual aid network, a labor union, and a summer camp for community organizers.  

Annie was a Senior Officer for learning at The James Irvine Foundation, one of California's largest private foundations advancing worker power and economic opportunity. She previously served as a project director at MDRC, a national policy organization where she managed large scale technical assistance projects and program evaluation projects focused on economic mobility for vulnerable communities.  

 

Annie draws courage and faith for social change work through community projects, spiritual practice, wilderness travel, and art.  She holds a M.S. in Nonprofit Management from The New School and  a B.A. in Government from Hamilton College.
